The Island of Perfume

Day 1   Arrive at Ivato International Airport.  Transfer to hotel in Antananarivo for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 2   Drive to Perinet, stoping to take photos enroute.  In the afternoon, walk in the Reserve.  See the special kind of lemur, which inhabits the forest.  Enjoy close views of these magnificent animals in the reserve.  It is also a good place for bird watching and endemic plants like orchids.  Transfer to hotel in Perinet for overnight stay on full board basis. 

Day 3   Visit the Mantadia National Park for an exciting experience.  Transfer to hotel in Perinet for overnight stay on full board basis. 

Day 4   Drive to Analamazaotra reserve.  Analamazaotra is covered in medium altitude tropical rainforest.  It is a home for the biggest lemur: the Indri Indri and many reptiles, birds & amphibians. Transfer to hotel in Perinet for overnight stay on full board basis. 

Day 5   Transfer to the airport for flight to Nosy Be.  Arrive at Nosy Be Airport. Transfer to hotel in Nosy Be for overnight stay on dinner, bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 6   Nosy Be is the destination for beach resorts.  It is also called the “perfumed island” because of the Ylang Ylang plantation.  Full day at leisure or take one of the optional excursions (at additional cost): 
 

Nosy Komba and Tanikely 

Depart in the morning to Hell Ville sea port.  Embark on a motor boat towards Nosy Komba.  Visit the Lemur Park.  Continue towards Nosy Tanikely, ideal for snorkelling.  After lunch, stroll around for a panoramic view.  Return to hotel for overnight stay in Nosy Be on dinner, bed and breakfast basis. 
 

Tour of Nosy Be Island 

Depart from the hotel in the morning.  Visit Hell Ville and a few souvenir Boutiques, for locally made artcraft, spices and other souvenirs.  Continue to the distillery of Ylang Ylang.  Lunch enroute to Mont Passotin.  Watch the sunset from culminating point of Nosy Be.  Return to hotel after sunset. 

Day 7   Transfer to the airport for flight to Antananarivo.  On arrival, transfer to hotel in Antananarivo for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 8   Transfer to the airport for onward flight. 
 

The Rainbow Island

Les Ilots Sable

Cruising on the lagoon South to Northward, reach the East coast.  This true sea aquarium, protected from waves by white sand banks and is the best for snorkelling.  Lunch at Ile aux Nattes. 
 

Whale watching - July to September 

Depart in the morning for a cruise in search of whales.  On board of Salina, a luxury yatch equipped with cabin, salon and large fly bridge for sunbathing. 
Overnight stay at hotel on dinner, bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 7   Transfer to the airport for flight to Antananarivo.  On arrival, transfer to hotel in Antananarivo for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 8   Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
