Tropical Hatari Safari

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi and transfer to the Hotel Intercontinental for overnight on bed and breakfast basis. Welcome dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 2 After breakfast drive towards Mount Kenya Region. Arrive at Mountain Lodge in time for lunch. The Mountain Lodge is located on the fringe of Mount Kenya National Park , at an elevation of 7200 feet. Afternoon game viewing from specially built platforms overlooking a water hole. A large artificial watering hole attracts forest animals, and lights are kept on all night so the attracted animals can be easily viewed. Dinner & overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 3 After early breakfast drive towards northern Kenya . Arrive at the Samburu National Reserve by lunchtime. After lunch at the Samburu Serena, a game drive through the reserve to view rare animals that are not found in other game parks in the country. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge

Day 4 Early morning game drive to see the Gerenuk (the only Antelope family which eats shrubs with front legs leaning up on a tree), the Reticulated Giraffe and the Grevys Zebra. After breakfast, laze at the Lodge. Late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 5 After breakfast drive towards Mount Kenya region. Arrive at the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club for lunch. The Club has been built on 100 acres of land and has a golf course and many other activities. The grounds are a home to different species of bird life. Dinner and overnight stay at the Club.

Day 6 After early breakfast, depart towards Rift Valley for L.Nakuru National Park . Arrival in time for lunch at the Lion Hill Lodge. After lunch, game viewing and see the Rhinos, which are being reared, in the Rhino Sanctuary. Stop at the lake to see the world famous Pink Flamingos. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 7 After early breakfast, depart towards Masai Mara Game Reserve. Drive through the Rift Valley and arrive for lunch at the Mara Simba Lodge. Afternoon game drive to view the animals. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 8 Early morning game drive before breakfast. Early mornings and late evenings are the best times to see the animals. After breakfast relax at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive to see more animals. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 3 After early breakfast drive towards the Masai Mara Game Reserve. After lunch at the Mara Simba Lodge, game drive to view the animals. The reserve is the biggest in Kenya . Here you can find the Black Manned Lions, which the Mara is famous for. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
